Hello everyone at HSEC. I am doing fine here
in my new home and wanted to update you on my new life.
I met my new Mom and Dad at my Foster Mom's
house in April. They are really nice and I knew I would like
them but they had brought my new sisters (Molly, Coco and
Biegnet) with them. I wasn't real sure about them but now we
are one big happy family. I was known as the hamster dog
because I was so little. My foster mom and Callie both said
"Don't worry he won't grow much you will be to push him in a
stroller" but I knew different. I am good at keeping secrets
and didn't tell them the truth until later. They also told Mom
and Dad that I had some special needs but they didn't care.
At
the end of the weekend we all left Greenville for the trip to my
new home in Kentucky. It was a
long drive but Mom let me ride on
her lap all the way. We made lots of stops along the way to
enjoy the scenery (you know puppies have to stop alot) but they
didn't care. Once we got to Kentucky I explored my new home.
They already had a special area all set up for me with a bed and
toys.
As we all got more comfortable Mom and Dad
started working with me and my "special abilities". I can now
get up on the couch with no problems but I can't get on the
bed. I don't care about the bed since my favorite place is on
the couch watching TV. I still have trouble jumping but no one
cares about that. Dad also taught me to sit and shake hands.
As time went on Mom and Dad learned my "little
secret"! With all the attention and good food I started growing
and have not stopped. I am no longer the little puppy that rode
on Mom's lap all the way home. As Mom puts it I am now her Big
Boy! Although Mom and Dad kept my name I am now known as
Truffle "Bubba" Fritze. They said I am too big to be a little
Truffle. I now weigh almost 50 lbs and I like to say it is all
muscle. Since I only 8 months old they don't think I am done
growing yet. I am still keeping a secret as to how big I will
get.
I will be back to visit soon and you will be
amazed!
I am also sending you some of my better
pictures.
