Thank you to everyone who came out for the Fluff and Puff Dog Wash. It was a lot of good clean fun! Thank you to Gold's Gym for offering their site for the event.
Pet Supplies Sale - Wal Mart - June 21, 2008 We would like to thank everyone who came out for the Pet Supplies Sale. We would also like to thank our faithful volunteers and Wal-Mart for allowing us to host the event on site.
Despite the heat, Hound Dogs and Hot Dogs was a big success. We would like to thank everyone who came out to meet our great hound dogs and share a hot dog with us. We would also like to thank our hard working volunteers, Wal-Mart for allowing us to host the event on site and Brown and Wood for the use of their food wagon.
Thank you to CPW's Fine Food and Spirits for their continued support of the HSEC. The First Annual CPW's and Friends event was a lot of fun and we appreciate everyone who came out to support the HSEC.
Wal Mart and Sam's Club Donation The Humane Society would like to thank Wal Mart and Sam's Club for their generous donation of $2,500. These funds will assist the organization in continuing to meet our mission in the community.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to support Black Dog Day 2007. Black dogs are adopted less frequently than other dogs and we like to show the public what great pets are black dogs can be. We had a good turnout of volunteers and black dogs who enjoyed the day. Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and money to help us support the homeless animal of eastern North Carolina. Click here for pictures from the day.

Used Book Sale
We would like to thank Linda Monico of New
Levels Dog Training and student volunteers from the Oakwood School for
dedicating an afternoon each week to help train and socialize our adoptable
pets. Dr. Linda Kuhn and Suzan Molloy also participate in the training
and support the program by organizing the sign up and transporting the kids
to and from the Humane Society and we appreciate their support in these
activities as well.
